PMP® Exam Sample Question on stakeholder consensus with Aileen

In this blog, Aileen reviews what do we really mean when we go after consensus from our project stakeholders.

What is tricky about this question is the phrase "in this context". The question is not asking you the defintion of the word consensus. It is asking you what consensus means in this context. Realize that in real life, and on the PMP® Exam, it is not reasonable that key stakeholders will agree on all project decisions. We are not looking for their agreement. We are not looking for their approval. We are looking to ensure that the key stakeholders will support the decisions being made. Hope this helps you as you prepare for the PMP® Exam. Aileen
